All-terrain tires are often considered for vehicles that divide their time between paved roads and unpaved routes. The VEVR catalog supplied through CAMPINTAL includes several patterns in this category. Their descriptions can help narrow a discussion, but a tread photograph alone cannot establish tested grip, durability or vehicle compatibility.

Start with the route, load and vehicle

Before comparing tread patterns, record how the vehicle is used. Regular highway travel, occasional gravel tracks, heavier commercial loads and sustained off-road operation place different demands on a tire. The vehicle manufacturer’s permitted sizes and service descriptions remain the starting point.

There can be trade-offs between tread-block design, noise, handling and wear in a particular application. No single catalog phrase proves that a tire is best for every route. Ask for relevant product data and describe the operating conditions instead of selecting solely by the most aggressive-looking tread.

Four patterns in the supplied catalog

  • VEVR V16: a block-pattern all-terrain tire with several LT reference sizes, including LT265/70R17.
  • VEVR AT255: described with interlocking tread blocks and wide grooves; listed sizes include 245/70R16 and 265/65R17.
  • VEVR AT200: a rugged block pattern with longitudinal grooves and light-truck size examples such as LT225/75R16.
  • VEVR AT300: a mixed passenger/LT catalog range with examples such as 265/70R17 and LT245/75R16.

These are catalog references, not claims of availability or interchangeable fitment. The same nominal size can be offered in different load versions, so a quotation should state the full product specification.

All-terrain is not the same as winter certification

An all-terrain or all-season description does not automatically establish severe-snow certification. Winter suitability depends on the actual tire markings, the vehicle, expected conditions and local legal requirements. Request confirmation for the exact tire rather than assuming that tread appearance proves cold-weather performance.

Likewise, marketing words such as durable or high performance should not be treated as comparative test results. If a purchase depends on a particular wet-grip result, load capability or certification, obtain supporting documentation that clearly identifies the supplied pattern and size.

Build a useful side-by-side comparison

Make a shortlist using the approved size, complete service description, expected road conditions and required documentation. Then compare confirmed specifications, commercial terms and supply details. Resolve any inconsistency in a catalog before relying on it; the source PDF contains some load, pressure and speed discrepancies.

Our tire catalog pages bring the pattern summaries, listed sizes and source page references together. Read the tire-size guide if you need help preparing the enquiry, then contact CAMPINTAL with your shortlisted patterns and exact requirements. Fitment should be confirmed by a qualified tire professional.
